Job Description

General Summary

 

The EXPrESSIVE-10 trial is a phase 3 clinical study assessing the safety and efficacy of
MK-8527, an investigational once-monthly oral PrEP medication for adolescent girls
and young women at five sites in Uganda: Entebbe, Kalangala, Kampala, Masaka, and
Mityana.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

. Performing sample collection from study participants.

· Processing and preparing laboratory samples for shipment according to study-specific protocols.

· Maintaining good laboratory documentation practices according to good clinical laboratory practice (GCLP)

· Freezer sample storage and retrieval according to study-specific protocols

· Laboratory Results preparation and management.

· Laboratory equipment monitoring and maintenance

 

Academic Qualifications

  • A minimum of a diploma in medical laboratory sciences.

Person Specification

 

  • Experience working in research
  • Experience with shipping of samples
  • Experience with performing quality Assurance testing
