Job Description
- Manage end to end clean in place operations to sanitize beverage pipework, process circuits, and filling valves.
- Safeguard product safety and manufacturing hygiene through precise chemical preparation, cycle programming, and sanitation verification.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare caustic and acid wash solutions at required concentrations and specifications for designated cleaning cycles.
- Program, initiate, and monitor automated CIP wash cycles across beverage process circuits and filling equipment.
- Sanitize beverage transfer pipes, product lines, and filling valves in strict accordance with approved hygiene procedures.
- Perform chemical concentration titrations and monitor solution temperatures throughout wash phases.
- Conduct environmental and equipment surface swab tests to verify microbiological cleanliness and cleaning efficacy.
- Record all CIP cycle parameters, titration measurements, temperature checks, and test results in traceable sanitation logs.
- Comply with food safety protocols, occupational health requirements, chemical handling rules, and personal protective equipment standards.
- Coordinate CIP schedules with production and maintenance teams to ensure timely equipment handovers and minimal operational downtime.

Education Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Ordinary Diploma in Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
- National Certificate, Craft Certificate, or relevant vocational/technical training in chemical processing, laboratory technology, or industrial sanitation
- UACE or UCE with demonstrated technical and scientific aptitude
Experience
- 2+ years executing automated CIP cycles in dairy, beer, or soft drink plants.
