Job Description

About the Employer

The Uganda Network on Law, Ethics and HIV/AIDS (UGANET) is a non-governmental organisation established in 1995. It promotes human rights, health rights, legal protection, HIV awareness and gender equality, with a focus on vulnerable and marginalised populations.

UGANET is recruiting 34 field staff to support refugee response and field operations across refugee settlements and host communities in Uganda.

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer (1 Position)

Duty Station: Kiryandongo

About the Role: Monitor programme activities, collect and verify data, track indicators and contribute to reporting and learning to improve programme implementation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Project Planning and Management or a related field.
  • Training in monitoring and evaluation and data collection tools is an added advantage.
  • At least two years’ hands-on M&E experience with an NGO or civil society organisation, preferably in gender-related work.
  • Skills in data management and tools such as Kobo Collect, Google Sheets and CommCare.
