ACCOUNTANT
Department: Finance
We are seeking a competent, experienced, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage payroll and ensure timely statutory and tax compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, postings, reconciliations, and record keeping.
- Support budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and financial analysis.
- Prepare accurate monthly and management financial reports.
- Ensure adherence to financial controls, policies and procedures.
- Support tax planning, audits, inventory management, and debt management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA/ACCA certification or progress towards completion is an added advantage.
- 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax and statutory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
