Job Description

Post: Assessment Officer (Accreditation) – 2 Posts

Reference: UHPAB/HRM/AOAC/015/26
Scale: UHPAB 5
Reports to: Senior Assessment Officer

Job Purpose

To support implementation of accreditation activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute assessment activities
  • Coordinate logistics
  • Support marking and data collection
  • Manage registration tasks
  • Maintain trainee records
  • Respond to queries
  • Conduct validation checks
  • Prepare reports
  • Support accreditation recommendations
  • Update databases

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the vacant posts tenable at the Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board.

Applications should be filled on PSC Form 3 and submitted to:

  • Executive Secretary
  • Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board
  • Plot 157, Ssebowa Road, Kiwatule
  • P.O. Box 236, Ntinda

Deadline: Not later than 5:00 pm on 20th May, 2026.


Instructions

  • Applicants are advised to:
    • Complete Public Service Form 3 (PSF 3) in triplicate
    • Attach one (1) recent coloured passport size photograph on each form
    • Attach a detailed Curriculum Vitae
    • Indicate title of the post on the application form and reference number against the post
    • Select one or two posts which you qualify for

  • Certified Academic documents:
    • Master’s Degree Certificate and Transcript
    • Post Graduate Diploma Certificate and Transcript
    • Bachelor’s Degree Certificate and Transcript
    • Diploma Certificate and Transcript
    • UACE
    • UCE
  • Certified Registration Certificates and valid Practicing Licenses for health workers where required by law
  • Evidence of training and practice in specialized areas where applicable
  • Letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion where applicable
  • National and Current Institutional Identity Cards
  • Priority should be given to only the relevant academic documents in the job specifications
  • All applicants will have the opportunity to present additional relevant qualifications

Important Notes

    • Original Academic and Professional Documents
    • Letters of appointment and confirmation
  • Candidates who present forged certificates shall be handed over to the Police for appropriate action
