| Position | ASSISTANT LECTURER – POSITION 1, Department of Biochemistry and Sports Science |

| Reporting To | Head of Department |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Teach, examine and grade students;
2. Supervise research for students; 3. Mentor junior staff; 4. Conduct research and community outreach activities; 5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department; 6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department. |
| Required Qualifications | i. Master of Science Degree in Sports or Exercise Science or Sports Psychology or Sports Management/Coaching or Sports and Health or Nutrition;
ii. At least an Upper Second Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sports Science. |
| Tenure of Appointment | 4-year contract |
| Age Limit | APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FORTY (40) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION |
| Remuneration | PU6.2 |
