Job Description

Uganda Martyrs’ Hospital (UMH), Diocese of Jinja, is a newly established state-of-the-art Private Not-for-Profit (PNFP) hospital in Jinja City. The hospital was founded by the Trustees of the Catholic Diocese of Jinja under the Ecclesiastical Province of Tororo Archdiocese. It aims to provide quality, affordable healthcare with a compassionate, patient-centred approach and is envisaged as a teaching and research hospital.

 Caterer – 2 Positions

About the Job

The Caterers will support the hospital’s food service operations by preparing and serving meals while maintaining appropriate food hygiene and safety standards. They will contribute to ensuring patients, staff and other authorised users receive properly prepared meals.

Requirements

Applicants should have:

  • Certificate in Catering.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and hygiene.
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
  • Relevant catering experience is an added advantage.
