Job Description
- Drives national sales strategies, oversees regional outlet operations, and leads commercial growth across the enterprise.
- Delivers end to end commercial governance, strategic planning, and financial stewardship to maximize revenue and channel penetration.
- Aligns commercial execution with production capacity, quality standards, and regulatory compliance to ensure sustainable market expansion.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive national sales strategies and oversee regional outlet operations across Kampala, Gulu, and Mbarara.
- Negotiate high value B2B and distributor contracts while balancing commercial risk, compliance, and profitability.
- Translate organizational objectives into measurable commercial priorities based on market conditions, production limits, and financial forecasts.
- Oversee sales budgets, cash requirements, capital expenditures, and resource allocation to eliminate waste and commercial exposure.
- Establish clear performance accountabilities for sales managers and conduct early risk reviews covering legal, financial, and operational factors.
- Strengthen organizational capability through succession planning, managerial development, and proactive resolution of departmental coordination bottlenecks.
- Collaborate cross functionally with production, quality, and supply chain teams to prevent operational delays and ensure customer order fulfillment.
- Maintain complete, traceable, and confidential records for all major contracts, performance trackers, and customer agreements for audit verification.
- Enforce applicable occupational safety, food hygiene, environmental, and security standards across all commercial and outlet operations without compromising compliance for speed.

Education Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Computing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Food Science, or Engineering
- Master’s degree, MBA, MSc, MA, MEng, or relevant postgraduate diploma
- Professional qualifications such as CIM, CPA, ACCA, CIPS, CIPD, project management, or sector specific executive certifications
- Equivalent foreign qualifications recognized in Uganda
Experience
- 8+ years in commercial or sales leadership in the Ugandan food and beverage sector.
