  • Adapt content for different audiences and formats (digital, print and presentation materials)

2. Digital and Multi-Channel Communications

  • Plan and manage the day-to-day social media content calendar and posting across MCI platforms
  • Contribute to broader digital communication strategies including email newsletters and website updates
  • Support the production of communication materials for campaigns, events and community activations

3. Media Relations & External Visibility

  • Draft media pitches, press releases and talking points
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets
  • Coordinate responses to media inquiries and facilitate interviews when required

4. Event and Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning and delivering communication activities for events, workshops, launches and campaigns
  • Prepare communication kits, promotional materials, and post-event reports

5. Monitoring, Reporting & Documentation

  • Track communication performance metrics (reach, engagement, media mentions) and prepare regular reports
  • Maintain an organized archive of communication assets, photos and documents
  • Support the development and updating of MCI’s brand guidelines and messaging framework

How to Apply

Interested candidates should submit the following as one PDF file to hr@mciug.org. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

  • One recent writing sample (press release, article, blog post or report)

Who We Are Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field
4–5 years of progressive experience in communications, preferably in media, NGOs, development organizations, or creative industries
Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to produce high-quality content for diverse audiences
