Job Description

Job Purpose

Key Functions
  • Formulating, developing, and coordinating District development strategies, plans, and budgets.

Person Specifications

(i) Qualifications

  • Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Planning and Management from a recognized institution.

(ii) Experience

  • At least six (6) years of working experience as a Planner, three (3) of which must have been served at Senior level in the public service or a reputable organization.

(iii) Competences

  • Planning, organizing, and coordinating.
  • Policy management.
  • Project management.
  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
  • Concern for quality and standards.
  • Communication.
  • Time management.
