Job Description
NADO-U is an independent body established under the National Sports Act, 2023 (as amended), mandated to promote clean sport, protect athletes and uphold the integrity of sport in Uganda.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans for the following position:
1. EDUCATION OFFICER – 1 POSITION
Salary Scale: NU-4 | Duty Station: Kampala
Contract: 3 Years, Renewatle
Ref: ADM/01/07/2026-09 | Reports to: Human
Capital & Administration Manager
Job purpose
To develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor and evaluate evidence-based clean sport education and awareness programmes in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standard for Education.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare work plan and Education budget, prioritizing resources as required in line with International Standard for Education
- Managing the organization’s Anti-Doping Leaming
Management Systems - Provide Leadership to the educators team/ network including the training, deploying, networking, arranging education activities, and ensuring quality educators
- Support National Sport Federations and Build interational relationships with other stakeholders to coordinate education efforts, exchange ideas, and enhance programs
- Coordinate with the Media team for Anti-Doping projects including Education and Awareness programs to ensure publicity and visibility
Minimum Qualification:
Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Sports/ Physical Education), Sports Science., Public Health or Curriculum Development from a recognised institution. Practical experience in anti-doping programmes or as an athlete is an added advantage.
