Job Description

Exquisite Solution Limited is seeking a skilled IP Network Engineer for one of our clients in the Telecommunications industry. The role focuses on supporting the delivery, operation, and maintenance of IP network systems, with emphasis on CCTV infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage IP networks to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform subnetting and IP address planning, including VLSM.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance using tools such as Huawei eSight or similar platforms.
  • Detect, analyze, and resolve network faults proactively.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty network hardware to minimize downtime.
  • Support network delivery activities including device commissioning, integration, cutover, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Implement risk mitigation measures and support emergency response planning.
  • Review technical solutions and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Engage with customers to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure network security, stability, and service quality at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field
  • CCNA certification or equivalent
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in IP networking, preferably in CCTV or surveillance systems
  • Strong knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, and VLSM
  • Proficient in Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, STP, port configuration) and Layer 3 routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, static routing)
  • Understanding of VPN and tunneling technologies (L3VPN, EVPN, LDP, RSVP-TE, SRv6 concepts)
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
