Job Description
DESIGNATION: Machine operators(05)
JOB IDENTIFICATION:
Department: Production
Reporting to: Team BFS Section Head.
POSITION PURPOSE:
To supervise, train and create awareness to all production staff on aspects regarding timely accomplishment of job-related tasks, cGMP and proper work ethics so as to achieve the overall company goal.
JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
| Key Result Area | Key Roles / Duties |
| Technical and maintenance role. | 1. To efficiently operate BFS machines to meet company targets.
2. To conduct routine maintenance works on BFS machines as well as minimize the rate of breakdown. 3. To ensure smooth functioning of BFS machine all the time. 4. To report all sorts of BFS machine breakdown to the team leader, section head and engineering department. 5. To ensure that all safety standards are met and comply with current GMP guidelines. 6. To ensure that BFS machine are highly efficient through minimizing defects. 7. To ensure that periodic machine parts change is done as per requirement of the department. 8. Set up and adjust machines. 9. To work with the engineering department in installing and commissioning of new machines, equipment and parts. |
| Documentation and reporting role. | 1. Maintain daily production and engineering records in the logbooks.
2. Review manuals to ascertain the cycle for calibration and maintenance of these machines. 3. Report any form of defect or malfunction detected on the machine. |
| Any other Duties | 1. Ensure that any other duty assigned by HOD is executed to Management expectations. |
AUTHORITIES:
- BFS machine operation.
- Perform BFS machine trouble shooting.
- Record BFS machine production data.
- Timely batch code change & CIP/SIP processing.
- BFS machine mould change.
- BFS machine set up to minimize filling rejects.
- Maintenance of the BFS machines and also keeping the machines and the environment clean.
- Timely communication of breakdown to the team leader.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or E
- 2 years experience working in relevant / similar company.
- Ability to work with senior people.
- Excellent report writing skills.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic safety training
- Basic GMP training
- Leadership training
- Entry & exit into production area training
- Hygiene training
