Job Description

1.0     Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill available vacancies in the Public Service. 1.1    Mandatory requirements for Applicants: –

  2. b)Scan, attach and submit on-line recent passport size photograph and relevant documents (‘O’ Level, and ‘A’ Level Certificates, Degree Transcripts and Certificates).
  3. c)Each attachment must not exceed a limit of 1MB and only Portable Document Format (PDF) is allowed;

 

1.2    Application Process:

  1. a)Visit the website  https://vacancies.psc.go.ug
  2. b)Click and Register as a new User to create your account and complete your profile (starting with your bio data moving downwards).
  3. c)If you already have an account, simply sign in and update your profile.
  4. d)Click on Jobs, then Advertised Jobs in the menu.  Select the Advert to view the jobs therein.
  5. e)Click on the job from the list of advertised jobs.
  6. f)View the job details and click apply.
  7. g)Review your application and submit.
  8. h)You can only apply for one (01) post. Applying for more than two (02) posts will lead to automatic disqualification.

 

1.3    Emphasis: –

–        Researching and preparing legal briefs and submissions on matters regarding the Ministry;

–        Maintaining a database of legal matters and documents of the Ministry for future reference;

–        Supporting the Ministry in formulation of legal and regulatory Instruments;

–        Preparing work plans, budgets and periodic reports for the Section;

–        Supervising and appraising staff in the Section;

 

–        Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
