Job Advert: Branch Manager – for Cocoa producing company
Employment Type: Full-time
On behalf of our client, a Cocoa Producing Company, we seek to recruit and interview for a Branch Manager to lead our branch operations and contribute to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all branch operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate cocoa procurement, storage, quality control, and dispatch activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cocoa farmers, suppliers, and local stakeholders.
- Supervise branch staff, provide leadership, and ensure high performance.
- Prepare and monitor branch budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Identify business development opportunities and implement strategies to increase cocoa volumes and market share.
- Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management.
- Resolve operational challenges and ensure continuous improvement of branch activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience, preferably in agribusiness, agriculture, commodity trading, or cocoa production.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of cocoa value chains, procurement processes, and quality standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and branch management systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
