Job Detail

Oversee and maintain ISO 9001, HACCP, and UNBS compliance systems, ensuring all standard documentation and audit protocols are rigorously managed across the facility.
Drive end to end quality management system performance by establishing clear operational controls, preventing non compliance, and resolving quality deviations without compromising safety or productivity.
Lead the QMS team and coordinate with cross functional departments to cultivate consistent operational discipline and advance continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

Maintain ISO 9001 and HACCP standard documentation, internal audit protocols, and UNBS compliance files to ensure ongoing audit and regulatory readiness.
Lead non conformance investigations and root cause analyses to implement robust corrective and preventive action plans.
Draft, update, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process specifications, eliminating informal workarounds.
Plan and conduct internal audits across operational departments, verifying adherence to inspection frequencies, authorization limits, and cleaning standards.
Supervise QMS personnel by setting daily priorities, allocating duties based on competence, and maintaining active oversight on the operating floor.
Respond immediately to quality deviations, customer complaints, and production failures to stabilize operations while protecting product integrity.
Monitor and evaluate operational data, customer feedback, and audit findings to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with production, supply chain, and maintenance departments to resolve quality risks before they cause operational delays.
Ensure complete, traceable, and legible recordkeeping across all audit logs, incident trackers, test results, and compliance reports.
Enforce occupational health, food safety, environmental standards, and personal protective equipment requirements across all departmental activities.

QMS auditing and compliance monitoring against ISO 9001, HACCP, and UNBS standards
Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) drafting and technical documentation control
Root cause analysis and non conformance investigation techniques
Team leadership, shift coordination, and performance coaching
Digital quality data management and ERP recordkeeping

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Quality Management, Food Science and Technology, Industrial or Production Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Operations Management, Environmental Health, Agriculture, or closely related technical disciplines.
Higher Diploma or Ordinary Diploma in Food Science, Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Health, Operations Management, or directly related practical disciplines.
Relevant TVET, UBTEB, trade credentials, or recognized professional quality, safety, and supervisory certifications, as well as equivalent accredited international qualifications.

4+ years managing ISO and Quality Management Systems (QMS) in food manufacturing plants.
