| Position | Assistant Lecturer, Department of Dentistry |

| Reporting To | Head of Department |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Teach, examine and grade students;
2. Supervise research for students; 3. Mentor junior staff; 4. Conduct research and community outreach activities; 5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department; 6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department. |
| Required Qualifications | i. Master’s degree in the specialization of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon;
ii. At least an Upper Second Bachelor’s degree of Dental Surgery or Equivalent. iii. Two years of relevant work experience is an added advantage iv. Registration and licensure by the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners council; v. Valid practicing License |
| Tenure of Appointment | 4-year contract |
