Job Description

Operator – Briquettes / Bagasse / Husk Handling

  • Experience Required: 3–4 Years
  • Industry Focus: Industrial Utilities (Biomass Boiler Feed Systems)
Job Purpose
To manage the receiving, checking, prepping, and feeding systems for biomass fuel types like briquettes, bagasse, and coffee/rice husks.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the mechanical feeding systems, screw conveyors, and hoppers to ensure continuous biomass fuel delivery.
  • Inspect incoming biomass fuels for moisture variations, dust limits, and foreign material blockages.
  • Clean fuel delivery lines and clear feed conveyor jams quickly to prevent boiler starving.
  • Maintain clean and organized fuel storage yards following plant fire risk policies.
