Job Description
Uganda Martyrs’ Hospital (UMH), Diocese of Jinja, is a newly established state-of-the-art Private Not-for-Profit (PNFP) hospital in Jinja City. The hospital was founded by the Trustees of the Catholic Diocese of Jinja under the Ecclesiastical Province of Tororo Archdiocese. It aims to provide quality, affordable healthcare with a compassionate, patient-centred approach and is envisaged as a teaching and research hospital.
Medical Officer – 3 Positions
About the Job
Uganda Martyrs’ Hospital is seeking three Medical Officers to provide comprehensive medical care to patients. The officers will participate in curative and preventive healthcare services, assess and manage patients, respond to emergencies, perform appropriate medical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
The role requires a medical professional who can work effectively in a hospital environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and professional ethics.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
- A valid practicing licence.
- At least three years of relevant working experience.
