  1. JOB PURPOSE

To support the HVAC Technician in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with safety standards..

  1. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties and Key Responsibility Areas

Assist in the installation of HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment.
Support routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking thermostats, and inspecting system components.
Help diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues under supervision.
Carry tools, equipment, and materials to job sites and assist in setup.
Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
Follow instructions from the lead technician and supervisors.
Comply with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
Document work performed and report any issues or malfunctions.
Assist in testing systems for proper operation and efficiency.
Implement “Performance Management the Alliad Way” by setting KPI’s for direct reports (if assigned any), conduct regular reviews, identify training requirements and provide a coaching, mentoring and supportive role.
Ensures adherence to quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements in Food Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, and Environment.

  1. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING/ KNOWLEDGE
7.1 Education & Professional Certifications
  • Certificate or training in HVAC or a related technical field.

 

7.2 Work Experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role

 

 

7.3 Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and tools.
  • Willingness to learn and follow technical instructions.
  • Ability to assist in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
