Job Description
POSITION: PARAVET
DUTY STATION: Entebbe, Hoima, Jinja, Masaka and Old Kampala.
At HMH-KUKU Ltd, shared prosperity begins with people who care. We are looking for a result driven, customer-focused Paravet to drive sales and deliver top-tier veterinary advisory services across our regional One Stop Shops. In this dual technical commercial role, you will act as a trusted partner to local farmers providing essential health support while scaling business operations.
This role involves selling day-old chicks (DOCs), Poultry feed, veterinary pharmaceutical products and equipment, training and serving customers.
What you will do
- Sale of one-stop shop items including day-old-chicks.
- Manage the one-stop shop inventory levels to make key decisions on stock orders and engage in planning to meet future sales demand.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries and complaints by providing satisfactory and timely feedback.
- Provide technical support to customers, farmers and the DOC Sales team.
- Confirm cashless payments, ensuring accuracy of prices, quantities and issuing invoices.
- Reconcile collections against the daily sales and generate reports
- Prepare and submit daily sales summaries reports and submit as per the guidelines set.
- Maintain and update the DOCs customer databases.
- Generate reports on sales, inventory and any other management report as needed.
- Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- A National Diploma in Animal Production and Management or Animal Health.
- A minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a customer technical support role.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS- PowerPoint and MS Excel for business analysis
