Job Summary
The consultant will lead destination marketing initiatives, tourism promotion strategies, and hospitality value-chain development to position Sub-Saharan African destinations for sustainable, inclusive growth.
The consultant will lead destination marketing initiatives, tourism promotion strategies, and hospitality value-chain development to position Sub-Saharan African destinations for sustainable, inclusive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tourism promotion and regional destination marketing campaigns.
- Develop and optimize local hospitality value chains.
- Design eco-tourism, cultural tourism, and community-based models.
- Engage diverse public and private tourism sector stakeholders.
- Deliver actionable growth strategies for niche tourism markets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of active experience in destination marketing or hospitality development.
- Strong familiarity with eco-tourism and community-based tourism.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and promotional campaign management skills.
- Availability for short-term, project-based assignments.
