We are currently seeking qualified and motivated professionals to join our ongoing construction projects in Kampala, Uganda, across multiple departments.

Position Summary

The Sales & Marketing Officer at GS Group Uganda drives business growth, revenue generation, and brand visibility across the company’s diversified divisions, including luxury real estate, ready-mix concrete, construction materials, engineering solutions, and industrial equipment supply. Operating in a high-energy, results-oriented environment, this B2B and B2C role is responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from market research, lead generation, and digital marketing campaigns to client pitching, contract negotiation, and final closing.

S/he acts as a primary brand ambassador, building profitable, long-term relationships with developers, contractors, corporate clients, and property investors. By collaborating closely with internal technical teams and delivering excellent customer service, the Sales & Marketing Officer converts market opportunities into measurable business revenue while strengthening GS Group’s market positioning in Uganda.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

·        Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across GS Group’s various business divisions including real estate, ready-mix concrete, construction materials, engineering solutions, and industrial equipment supply.

·        Generate leads, prospect clients, and convert potential customers into long-term business relationships.

·        Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company growth objectives and revenue targets.

·        Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, property investors, corporate clients, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.

·        Promote and market company products and services through direct sales, digital marketing, networking, exhibitions, activations, and client engagement initiatives.

·        Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, pricing strategies, and new business opportunities.

·        Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, contracts, and negotiate sales agreements professionally.

·        Coordinate and conduct regular client meetings, property viewings, site visits, inspections, and follow-up engagements.

·        Manage and update customer databases, sales pipelines, and lead tracking systems.

·        Provide social media campaigns, digital content, and brand awareness initiatives across multiple platforms.

·        Create marketing materials including brochures, company profiles, presentations, promotional content, and advertisements.

·        Monitor customer feedback and provide strategic recommendations to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and service delivery.

·        Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales and marketing performance reports for management review.

·        Collaborate with management and technical teams to ensure alignment between sales, operations, and project execution.

·        Ensure professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service while representing the company brand.

About You

Education & Experience

·        Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

·        Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales, preferably in Real Esates, construction materials, industrial equipment, or related sectors.

·        Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

·        Strong negotiation and closing skills.

·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

·        Self-driven, energetic, and highly motivated.

·        Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
