| Position | Lecturer, The School of Women and Gender Studies |

| Reporting To | Head of Department |
| Key Duties & Responsibilities | 1. Teach, examine and grade students;
2. Supervise research for students; 3. Mentor junior staff; 4. Conduct research and community outreach activities; 5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department; 6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department. |
| Required Qualifications | i. PhD in Gender Studies;
ii. Master of Arts degree in Gender studies; iii. An Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Arts or Education or Economics or Development Studies or Human Rights. |
| Tenure of Appointment | Permanent |
| Age Limit | APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT EXCEED FIFTY FIVE (55) YEARS OF AGE AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. |
