Agribusiness Value-Chain Associate
Position: Agribusiness Value-Chain Associate
Employment Type: Contract
Location: Kampala, Uganda (with regional travel)

Job Summary
The Agribusiness Value-Chain Associate will support the Agribusiness & Trade Facilitation practice by conducting value-chain assessments, building cooperative capacities, and strengthening market linkages for agricultural stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support value-chain assessments for key agricultural sectors.
  • Establish and strengthen sustainable market linkages.
  • Build operational capacity within farmer cooperatives and producer organizations.
  • Field-test and implement agribusiness growth interventions.
  • Travel regionally across Uganda to monitor field activities.

Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in Agribusiness, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience working directly with cooperatives or producer organizations.
  • Excellent community mobilization and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • High willingness to travel frequently across rural Uganda.
