Job Description
- Supports the preparation, drafting, and publication of approved digital marketing content across official social media and online communication channels.
- Captures visual assets and helps tell the brand story through factory, product, community, and promotional activities.
- Assists with daily audience engagement, content calendar scheduling, and systematic marketing asset management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Capture photographs and short videos of approved factory, product, field, sales, community, and promotional activities in adherence to company privacy and approval guidelines.
- Draft social media captions, simple announcements, product updates, and event information aligned with approved brand tone.
- Submit all draft materials through formal approval workflows prior to publication, avoiding disclosure of confidential factory data, customer details, unapproved production areas, or pricing strategies.
- Prepare basic digital graphics using authorized design software and pre established brand templates, colours, and logos.
- Monitor public post comments and direct messages, referring customer service, quality, legal, or sensitive matters to designated departments.
- Track and record basic performance metrics, including reach, engagement, clicks, follower growth, and individual post results.
- Assist with organizing, scheduling, and updating the corporate social media content calendar.
- Organize and archive digital media files, photographs, videos, and approved promotional collateral systematically.

Education Qualifications & Experience
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Information Technology, Multimedia, Film, Photography, or related fields
- Certificate, National Certificate, or vocational media qualification in relevant digital media or communication disciplines
- Recognized digital marketing certification
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) holder demonstrating strong digital and creative skills
- Creative portfolio ability evaluated alongside formal qualifications
Experience
- No prior work experience required.
- Includes comprehensive onboarding training covering brand standards, photo and video basics, platform management, approval workflows, customer interactions, copyright, privacy, and analytics.
