Inspire Africa Group is undertaking construction and infrastructure projects designed to contribute to Africa’s economic transformation. Through its Construction Department, the organization is developing infrastructure supporting the future of Africa’s coffee industry.

About the Job

The Materials Engineer will support the selection, testing, quality control, and technical evaluation of construction materials used across the organization’s projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and evaluate construction materials.
  • Assess the quality and suitability of materials for construction applications.
  • Support material quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Prepare materials testing and technical reports.
  • Monitor compliance of construction materials with required specifications.
  • Advise project teams on appropriate construction materials.
  • Identify and report materials that do not meet required standards.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience.
  • BSc in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering.
  • ERB registration is an added advantage.
  • UIPE membership is an added advantage.
