Inspire Africa Group (IAG) is a prominent Ugandan multi-sectoral enterprise dedicated to driving economic transformation across the continent. Founded and led by Ugandan entrepreneur Nelson Tugume, the group focuses on value addition, sustainable agriculture, industrialization, and human capital development. Its primary mission is to shift Africa from a raw material exporter to a hub of high-value finished products.
The crown jewel of the group’s operations is the Africa Coffee Park, a massive industrial facility located in Ntungamo, Western Uganda. This state-of-the-art hub specializes in coffee roasting, processing, and packaging, directly tackling the historical challenge of value loss in the global coffee supply chain. By processing coffee locally, IAG ensures that a larger share of coffee profits remains within Uganda to benefit domestic farmers.
Beyond industrial processing, Inspire Africa Group actively promotes entrepreneurship and youth empowerment across the region. Through various capacity-building initiatives and training programs, the organization equips youth and women with the technical and business skills needed to participate in the agricultural value chain. This holistic approach integrates grassroots community development with large-scale commercial manufacturing.
