Roving Consultant — Digital Innovations
Position: Roving Consultant — Digital Innovations
Employment Type: Roving Consultancy
Location: Uganda & Sub-Saharan Africa (Remote with travel)
Application Deadline: Rolling basis
Job Summary
This consultant advises NiDEC clients and project teams on digital transformation strategies, ICT4D (Information and Communication Technology for Development) interventions, and technology-enabled service delivery mechanisms across the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on digital transformation strategies for regional clients.
  • Design impactful ICT4D interventions tailored to local contexts.
  • Deploy technology-enabled service delivery frameworks.
  • Assess and scale existing digital tools for development impact.
  • Provide short-term, project-specific technical leadership.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in ICT, Digital Innovation, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience advising on digital transformation or ICT4D initiatives.
  • Proven track record designing scalable digital solutions for development contexts.
  • Immediate availability for short-term, flexible, project-based engagements.
