Job Description: Operations Manager (01 Vacancy)
Role Overview:
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day deployment, logistics, and ground management of our 100% electric Kayoola bus fleet. You will ensure strict adherence to arrival schedules, coordinate smart-charging timelines, optimize real-time routing, and maintain an exceptional level of safety, cleanliness, and comfort for our urban commuters.
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day deployment, logistics, and ground management of our 100% electric Kayoola bus fleet. You will ensure strict adherence to arrival schedules, coordinate smart-charging timelines, optimize real-time routing, and maintain an exceptional level of safety, cleanliness, and comfort for our urban commuters.
Key Responsibilities:

- Fleet Deployment: Manage the daily schedule, driver shifting, and route adherence across our active corridors connecting Kira and Kampala.
- Smart Charging Logistics: Coordinate with technical teams to optimize energy consumption and schedule bus rotations at our dedicated electric vehicle charging bays.
- Commuter Service Standards: Monitor the optimal functioning of critical onboard rider amenities, including air conditioning, USB ports, and free MTN Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Incident Management: Serve as the chief escalation point for route disruptions, minor traffic delays, ticketing device technical glitches, or emergency mechanical needs.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transport Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Comprehensive experience in urban transport logistics, fleet operations, or large-scale corporate supply chains.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments efficiently.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transport Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Comprehensive experience in urban transport logistics, fleet operations, or large-scale corporate supply chains.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure environments efficiently.
