Job Summary
Position: School Feeding Officer
Organization: Andre Foods International (AFI)
Reports To: Head of Sub Office
Duty Stations: Kotido and Karenga
Number of Positions: 2
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Standardized National School Feeding Training Package to School Management Committees (SMCs), head teachers, storekeepers, and parent representatives.
- Monitor school food stocks, losses, supply interruptions, and food quality, and report issues promptly.
- Promote the use and maintenance of energy-efficient cookstoves in schools.
- Coordinate with District Education Offices, the Project Management Unit (PMU), and local leaders to ensure effective programme implementation.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, including gender-disaggregated data and progress against project indicators.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Development Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Ng’akaramojong or other Karamoja languages is an added advantage.
- A valid riding permit is an added advantage.
